The Rewilding Minds mission is a documented quest, designed to explore a living form of what Sacred Forests seeks to embody: a conservation grounded in relationship, listening and co-creation.
A rare window opens for us
Xinu and Yaka, two Yawanawa representatives from the Brazilian Amazon (Acre), are in Europe.
Maah and Mik have prepared an immersive field encounter for them to explore together: How indigenous peoples, brands, institutions and modern technologies can embody a hybrid approach to co-creation.
For Sacred Forests and its partners, Rewilding Minds offers an inspiring, appropriable, co-constructive and distinctive narrative.
It allows participation in a new way of embodying the relation between impact, culture, technology and the living.
An invitation to support this encounter and transform it into a living experience: a concrete bridge between the peoples who guard the forest, contemporary tools, and partners capable of acting.

Why Rewilding Minds?
Rewilding Minds is an invitation to embody a shift in posture: moving from a logic of project and vertical collaboration to a logic of horizontal relation, listening and co-creation.
ALDEÏA, an embodied indigenous philosophy
Inspired by the Aldeia — a term that, among the indigenous peoples of Acre, designates both the village and the collective —, Rewilding Minds draws on a matrix of organisation where everything is interconnected.
In indigenous cosmologies, every person, every people, every partner, every tool and every territory holds its rightful place. All are connected, complementary and interdependent. It is from this quality of relations that balance, resilience, and the collective's capacity to evolve emerge.
This way of inhabiting the world reminds us of an obvious truth that our societies have largely lost: everything is relation.
The crisis we are going through is not only ecological. It is profoundly systemic. It is a crisis of our capacity to think the interconnections and interdependencies between human beings, the living, territories, knowledge and technologies.
Rewilding Minds proposes a new paradigm: seeing the forest as a living system, indigenous peoples as sovereign partners, organisations, brands and companies as responsible participants, technology as a bridge, and narrative as a living and shared memory.
Our ambition is to create a space where everyone can contribute from their rightful place, in a logic of reciprocity, without domination or extraction.
Because the future does not depend on our capacity to control the living, but on our capacity to recognise that we are part of it, deeply connected to all its forms.
The Aldeia answers and operates on these principles;
- interdependence;
- the circulation of knowledge;
- solidarity as the base economy;
- community governance;
- the just slowness of the natural cycles of the living;
- the relationship to territory;
- continuity between generations.
The mission embodies this concrete vision: listen before acting, rethink co-development, use technology as a bridge.
It thus creates a storytelling with which communities, Sacred Forests, institutions and brands can resonate.
The sacred forest will be protected if we learn again to think like ecosystems: in relation, in reciprocity, in shared sovereignty, with each being and each tool in its rightful place.

Rewilding Minds. Rethinking our relation to the living.
Indigenous peoples carry a question of sovereignty facing the arrival of our world: money, contracts, image, social networks, climate, funders, AI, drones, new dependencies — without forgetting destruction, appropriation, corruption.
How can they adapt without betraying the forest?
Western partners carry a question of posture facing the power of their tools: money, technologies, narratives, networks, comfort and control.
How can we manage to help them without dispossessing them?
This mission becomes a space of practice:

- give rise to an alliance where each world embodies and takes its place.

Why Xinu & Yaka?
The differentiating narrative object
The culture of the « Txanas » of Acre changes the game.
The « Rewilding Minds » through-line only works if the encounter and the exchanges between the two worlds are bilateral.
Yet, opportunities to document and co-build — openly but with intimacy — bridges between traditional cultures and technologies remain rare.
Txana — the bird passer of culture
Txana is a yellow Amazonian bird, deeply rooted in the spirituality and identity of several indigenous peoples of Acre. Claimed with pride, it embodies the bird passer: bearer of culture, messenger between peoples and the world, symbol of the capacity to create links between universes without losing one's identity.
This profound vocation, shared by many representatives of the Acre peoples, makes this alliance not only possible, but carrying an immense potential in these times when humanity needs new ways of thinking and new ways of inhabiting the world.
Guardians of an ancestral vision, these peoples carry a unique capacity to cross geographical, cultural, technological and symbolic borders to open new spaces of understanding, cooperation and co-construction.
Their message is an invitation to rethink our way of being human.
At a time when ecological, social and technological upheavals profoundly redefine our societies, they remind us that answers will emerge neither from a single people, nor from a single culture, nor from a single technology, but from our capacity to recognise the interdependence of the living and the world as a whole. By reconnecting with a more conscious presence to the living and the interconnected whole, they open the way to a new alliance between ancestral knowledge and contemporary innovations, where differences are no longer borders to defend, but the foundations of a new way of being human: the Ancestral Future.
On the ground, the symbolism of the Txanas is embodied through a meeting with a local ornithologist in the Tarn (vultures' house), in a cross-learning where the 4 species of Tarn vultures mirror the Amazonian bird passers of culture. The Eagle & Condor prophecy is told there by Xinu, lived by all, without excess mysticism.
Why now
A rare window of opportunity and synchronicity.
After the friendship and intimacy shared within their home and their village, where they welcomed us during the first Sacred Forests mission among the Yawanawa (March 2026), Xinu and Yaka are today in Europe and, in turn, invite us to travel a few days between worlds.
This window has not been manufactured for a proposal. It already exists: their European tour is underway, the relationship is open, Maah knows the sensitivities of the field, and Mik can document the encounter with a light setup.
The opportunity is organic, limited in time and hard to recreate. If Sacred Forests supports it now, it becomes a living proof of its method. If it waits, the window may close or move toward other forms of support.
The 4 characters
Four complementary voices, one single quest.
The format brings together two Westerners and two Yawanawa around a simple, transverse and radical question: How can we evolve in today's world without losing — or better, by rediscovering — our essence?
Xinu Yawanawa
Cacique · orator · spiritual leader
Carries a spiritual, community-based and strategic voice tied to the Acre territory and the Aldeia Sete Estrelas, of which he is a widely recognised leader. His presence allows the hard questions to be faced with someone who knows the real weight of transmission, cultural sovereignty, forest medicines and community responsibility.
Yaka
Txana, Xinu's niece · feminine and generational voice
Representative of the new generation, an emerging figure of Yawanawá feminine leadership. Through her young age, she will offer an intimate and spontaneous reading, embodying the strength of youth, the spirit of Txana, of culture, of transmission and of the vision of the sacred feminine, while bringing a fresh eye to the encounter between worlds, as this journey represents her first departure from Brazil to other worlds and peoples.
Maah
Intercultural mediator · in charge of the COP mission
Relational and intercultural bridge, she understands the codes, sensitivities, risks and potentialities of dialogue between worlds. Weaver of ties between peoples, she translates, questions and unifies perspectives beyond the apparent separations of languages and cultures, from the heart of the forest to international institutions.

Embodies the other bank of the river. Puts his perspective on modern technologies at the service of the guardians of the land. Passionately shares his skills and technological tools — content creation, drone, AI — to explore how to serve the connection between worlds and the living.

Not a demonstration of technicality — an invitation to take the controls, test, reappropriate these tools as levers of sovereignty, memory and storytelling for their own territories.
